Kenneth B. Katz is an elected Fellow of the International Institute for Conservation, an elected Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation and Secretary of the National Organization of Conservator's in Private Practice.

His publications include articles about the conservation and restoration of the Michigan State Capitol, Detroit Athletic Club, German Expressionist painting, and conservation adhesives. He wrote a conservation column for Antiques Trader from 1999-2001.
